Otto Nielsen is a project manager at the Nordic Beet Research Foundation with responsibility for research and development projects in sugar beet cultivation. He works with the reduction of nitrous oxide emissions, optimization of N and P fertilizer techniques and the use of biogas fiber. Otto also leads trials with reduced tillage and combined mechanical- chemical weed control using advanced technology such as Farmdroid robots.
