Belén Cotes is the project manager (PhD) at the Nordic Beet Research Foundation. She works with plant protection, insects and nematodes, as well as control methods such as planting plants together. She is active in pest monitoring and monitoring of Pentastiridus leporinus and develops advanced digital and molecular methods to improve the detection of nematodes. She is also responsible for visualizing experimental data in PowerBI.
